Scenic Artist

Since 2014, Maggie has painted sets for professional and academic theatres while passing down her knowledge to students at the middle school through undergraduate levels. She believes that because of its broad strokes, scenic painting is one of the most accessible entry points to being a painter. She prides herself on training her students to be tidy and efficient, and strives to share her knowledge with small companies and school programs to help them improve overall production value with a few simple painting techniques.

Her professional work includes Central Square Theatre, Company One, Gloucester Stage, Boston Playwright’s Theatre, the Boston Lyric Opera, and Boston College.
